Koinonia Homeschool Co-op

A ministry of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Koinonia Christian Homeschool Co-op is run by two current members of St. Timothy and meets on Fridays throughout the school year. Koinonia families gather together to appreciate the best of literature, music, and art; the beauty of God’s creation in nature; the benefits of physical activity; and the blessings of Christian fellowship. Our co-op is based on the educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason and classical educational methods but is open to families using other curricula. Koinonia includes children from nursery age all the way through high school. There are special classes for nursery, preschool, and kindergarten-aged children, and older children can take a variety of classes including art, music, nature study, sports and games, and high school electives including full high school science classes with labs.
